(1) Microcosm establishes an appropriate environmental management system based on its industry characteristics.

    1、Established environmental banned/restricted substances management procedures and a dedicated team to regularly conduct environmental monitoring and analysis of the operating environment and production processes, and to develop HSF green environment to enhance environmental protection. Passed IECQ QC080000 HSF hazardous substance certification.

    2、Establish the management procedures such as "waste disposal operation management procedure" and "hazardous substance classification and graphic guidance operation procedure".

    3. Complying with the environmental protection laws and regulations, we entrust general waste and business waste to legal operators for transportation, and we have signed an appointment contract to assist in the recycling and reuse of resources.

    4. We are committed to developing green products, improving automatic production efficiency, and utilizing resources for recycling.

(2) Miscrocosm strives to improve the efficiency of resource utilization and use recycled materials with low impact on the environment.

    Since its establishment, Miscrocosm has been adhering to the concept of "equal emphasis on corporate development and environmental protection", and is committed to developing halogen-free FCCL products to effectively measure and monitor banned substances that are harmful to the environment.

(3) Miscrocosm assesses the potential risks and opportunities of climate change for enterprises now and in the future, and takes measures to address climate related issues.

   We manufacture and sell printed circuit board materials and thin-film laminated flexible substrates in the electronic components manufacturing industry. We are fully aware of the impact of climate change on our operations, which has led to a gradual increase in energy and environmental costs. We have continued to invest in energy saving and carbon reduction measures, reuse of waste resources, and research and development of more environmentally friendly products.

(4) Miscrocosm to implement energy saving and carbon reduction, waste management policies

    1. We have implemented energy-saving and carbon-reducing and greenhouse gas-reducing environmental practices such as water and electricity conservation.

(1) Promote the company's energy saving and carbon reduction, energy saving and environmental protection specific practices:

    ． Promote paperlessness in all aspects and adopt electronic document forms to reduce paper printing.

    The Complete utilization of paper: Promote double-sided printing and set up waste paper recycling bins to facilitate reuse of the reverse side of paper and reduce resource waste.

    (2) Use of electronic invoices to implement environmental protection and global sustainability:

    The Company has been promoting environmental protection and global sustainability, responding to global energy conservation and carbon reduction, and in line with the Ministry of Finance's e-invoicing policy, which has been implemented since October 107.

    (3) We joined the electronic document exchange system to reduce paper consumption and implement energy-saving and carbon-reduction policies through electronic processing of official documents. 166 documents were received in 2023.

    (4) Promote energy-saving measures in plants and offices:

    The Company continued to improve its plant and office operating equipment to enhance energy efficiency. In line with the energy declaration, the Company has been developing and implementing energy saving policies, achieving an annual energy saving rate of 1%, and an average energy saving rate of 2.03% for the years 104 to 110.

    (5) Use of energy-saving and environmental protection labeled products:

    LED energy-saving lamps and lanterns have been installed to improve the efficiency of the lighting system, and have been replaced by energy-saving lamps and lanterns in large quantities since 2018, successfully achieving energy saving and improving the lighting level. 

    (6) In response to the government's renewable energy policy, the Company added solar power generation at the end of 2006 to contribute to the global environment.

    2. Waste management:
        All of our wastes are handled by qualified professional disposal companies approved by the Environmental Protection Agency, and qualified cleaners are carefully selected. We regularly check the hazardous business waste disposal companies every year to avoid environmental pollution caused by negligence or illegal operation of the cleaners. For the management of hazardous business waste, a solvent recycling system is in place to achieve energy-saving benefits, avoid undue loss and waste of resources, and reduce the impact of waste on the environment, with zero pollution as the ultimate goal.
    3. Supplier package recycling:
    The raw materials and packaging materials used in production are recycled by our suppliers to reduce costs and waste generation.
